Sometimes the world can be an unpredictable place. When you need to change your plans The Passage Samui want to make it as quick and easy as possible for you to adjust your reservation dates.
When you need to make a change, simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you within 1 working day.
What is an amendment?
An amendment is a change to the dates of a booking but the rates stay the same.
Sometimes the unexpected creeps up on us and we need to change our plans. We understand this so amendments are not charged if made 7 days or more before checkin. If an amendment is made within 7 days of checkin an administration fee of half of one night stay will be charged.
What is a rebooking?
A rebooking is any change to a booking where the rates change.
Rebookings are subject to a 15% admin fee of the total booking.
What is a cancellation?
A cancellation is when you don't want to visit The Passage at all.
We just updated our cancellation policy on October 10th 2012 to make it easier to understand and give more flexibility to our guests who book direct with us. We hope this encourages you to book directly with us because ultimately this helps us provide better services to you.
Also, if you purchase special voucher deals such as those sold by Groupon, Living Social and similiar companies we specify in the deal details that no refunds are allowed.
Below are our conditions for bookings made directly to us through our website and email.
New Cancellation Policy (Applicable to bookings made on or after October 10th 2012)

Old Cancellation Policy (Applicable to bookings made before October 10th 2012)
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the season you are staying with us and who you booked with. For example, if you are staying with us at Peak season we need more notice to help us plan our business better.

|Cancellations prior to 30 days before arrival are refunded minus administration fee of 15% of total room amount
Deposit is not refundable if cancellation within 30 days.
Jan 11 - Apr 30 & July 16 - Sep 15
|Cancellations prior to 14 days before arrival are refunded minus administration fee of 15% of total room amount
Deposit is not refundable if cancellation within 14 days.
May 1 - July 15 & Sep 16 - Dec 23
|Cancellations prior to 7 days before arrival are refunded minus administration fee of 15% of total room amount
Deposit is not refundable if cancellation within 7 days.
What is an early checkout?
An early checkout is defined as when you would like to leave before your planned date of departure.
Early checkout will be charged a one night penalty charge plus 30% of any additional remaining nights. So if you have booked a 10 night stay and after the first night you want to leave, you would be charged for 5 nights. (1 night stayed, + 1 night penalty + 30% * 9 (rounded up).
For comparison: Most Koh Samui resorts charge you the full amount due for remaining nights!
